Job Title: Construction Field Quality Control (QC) Engineer

We provide services to clients from a broad range of industries. Our client list comprises developers, small- and large-scale contractors, builders, EPC companies, architect offices, public agencies, power companies, and oil and gas companies. Smoky Hill Engineering has an opening for quality control (QC) engineer for ongoing construction projects.
Entry-level quality control (QC) engineer responsible for inspecting and observe daily construction activities that include but not limited to MEP, building interiors, roofing, underground utilities, metal panels, concrete, CMU walls, fireproofing, waterproofing, building envelop, curtain wall, glazing, etc. The candidate should be able to read and understand project drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and RFIs.
The ideal candidate for this position is a fast learner, able to monitor multiple construction activities on a given day, has good verbal and written communication skills, and has mechanical engineering training or equivalent experience.
A qualified candidate will be expected to write a daily QC report.
