Smoky Hill Engineering, LLC is a Colorado-based civil and Structural Engineering Consulting Company. Our staff members are highly skilled and experienced Professional Engineers (PEs) with licenses to practice in most states. We provide services to clients from a broad range of industries. Our client list comprises developers, small- and large-scale contractors, builders, EPC companies, architect offices, public agencies, and power companies. Smoky Hill Engineering has an opening for Construction Administration Field Engineer for ongoing construction projects.

Construction Administration Field Engineer is responsible for inspecting and observing daily construction activities that include but are not limited to airfield pavements, parking lots, underground utilities, structural concrete, etc. In addition to this, the engineer supports the construction administration scope of work. The candidate should be able to read and understand project drawings, shop drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs. The ideal candidate for this position is a fast learner, able to monitor multiple construction activities on a given day, has good verbal and written communication skills, and has a civil or structural engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Some Civil /Structural Engineering study or Construction Inspection experience is required to be considered for this position.
