As the Founder and Principal of Smoky Hill Engineering, LLC, Demeke demonstrates exceptional skill in civil and structural engineering, consistently exceeding client expectations from the initial site selection phase to the final stages of project completion.
Before establishing Smoky Hill Engineering, Demeke held senior engineering and managerial roles at prominent global companies such as Boeing, Abengoa, Gannett Fleming Inc, AWS Truepower LLC, Kiewit, and Quanta Services. His significant contributions to these organizations are a testament to his expertise and commitment to excellence.
Demeke’s extensive knowledge in civil and structural engineering encompasses engineering analysis and design, QA/QC, EPC and Design-Build projects, contract documents, technical specifications, field inspections, independent engineering, and project management. Additionally, he is an active contributor to the advancement of civil and structural engineering research and development, with his work published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals.
