Our team played a crucial role in supporting the prime contractor, contributing our expertise in engineering services for the B-East and C-East Concourse Expansion programs.
Airfield and Pavements
The Airfield and Pavements Project encompassed quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) engineering for airfield pavement and large parking lot constructions at Denver International Airport and throughout the Denver metro area. Our team took on the role of the lead airfield and civil works QA/QC engineer, ensuring that all aspects of the project met high standards for safety, durability, and functionality.
Concrete, CMU, and Foundation Walls
The Concrete, CMU, and Foundation Walls Project involved our team serving as the structural engineer of record, tasked with designing concrete, concrete masonry units (CMU), and foundation walls for multiple projects. These projects were located within the City and County of Denver and its surrounding areas.
DEN Great Hall Completion PH3A, Center of Equity and Excellence
The DEN Great Hall Completion PH3A, Center of Equity and Excellence (CEEA) project is a groundbreaking development designed to foster collaboration between the community, Denver International Airport (DEN), the City and County of Denver (CCD), and the airline industry. As the structural engineer of record, Smoky Hill Engineering worked closely with the prime consultant to ensure the successful completion of this innovative project, which is a key component of DEN's Vision 100 strategic plan for future growth and industry adaptation.
Permit Services
The Permit Services Project involved Smoky Hill Engineering providing comprehensive support to clients in applying for and obtaining building permits from various Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) entities. Our team ensured that design documents and specifications were developed in accordance with the requirements of the relevant AHJs, streamlining the permitting process for our clients and ensuring timely approvals.
